We represent those who, regardless of citizenship, have been detained, searched or arrested without sufficient cause; subjected to unreasonable force; involved in police shootings; who have suffered abuse by police dogs; endured unlawful imprisonment, jail neglect or abuse; were deprived of the rights of prisoners or of the physically and mentally disabled; or suffered violation of their rights under the First, Fourth, Sixth, Eighth or Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution.
Among the rights protected by the First Amendment are freedom of speech, right to assembly, right to petition and protest, and the right to religious freedom.
