Darryl Parker

Darryl Parker is an experienced employment, personal injury, and civil rights attorney who has been practicing law and advocating for the rights of others for over 35 years. Born and raised in New York City, he received his B.A. in political science from Fordham University in the Bronx in 1976. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of California at Berkeley School of Law where he graduated in 1980.
He was admitted to the California Bar that December and worked until 1984 as co-counsel on numerous cases with the legendary Howard Moore Jr., known throughout the country as the leading scholar on issues of individual liberty.
Darryl has been serving the greater San Francisco Bay area since starting his private practice in 1984 and expanded his practice to Washington upon admission to the Washington State Bar in 2000. He became a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar in 2014 and resides in Seattle with his family, continuing to serve both Washington and California. He created the Civil Rights Justice Center in the spring of 2015.
He has handled numerous appeals since 1983, including several resulting in published opinions.

Anna Michel
Anna began working as a Legal Assistant at the Civil Rights Justice Center in September of 2015. She graduated from the Community, Environment, and Planning program at the University of Washington in the Spring of 2015 where she focused her studies on social justice and public policy. While not at CRJC, Anna attends carpentry school through Seattle Central Community College, goes for long bike rides, volunteers to do people’s taxes, and works as a waitress. She is passionate about civic engagement and civil rights law and is eager to continue participating in CRJC's growing role as a community legal resource center.
Rachelle Stefanski
Rachelle is a Legal Assistant for the Civil Rights Justice Center and is currently a 2L at Seattle University School of Law. Rachelle completed her undergraduate degree at Elmhurst College and taught for several years before joining the CRJC. She is passionate about issues regarding the LGBT community, prison reform as it relates to mental health, and women’s rights. She enjoys working with clients and is excited to be a part of CRJC and helping it fulfill its mission. Rachelle enjoys powerlifting to relieve the stress of long hours spent studying in the library.
Olivia Gee
Originally from Oakland, California, Olivia is a Legal Assistant and Media Strategist for the Civil Rights Justice Center. She graduated way back in 2016 from the University of Washington's Law, Societies, & Justice program and she is passionate about public policy, intersectional feminism, and the Golden State Warriors. She's enthusiastic about the CRJC's role as an educational legal resource center and enjoys managing its blog and social media presence. She plans to attend Berkeley Law this fall to study racial justice, political representation, and constitutional law.
Olivia Wiebe
Olivia is a recent graduate of the University of Washington, and majored in Law, Societies, and Justice with a minor in Classical Studies. Being an LSJ major helped her to better understand important social justice issues within the legal system, and she looks forward to pursuing these newfound interests by attending law school. She hopes that her role as an intern with CRJC will help her better understand the practical aspects of civil rights law, as she is hoping to work in this field in the future. Aside from her legal interests in individual rights and racial justice, she also enjoys traveling and attending sporting events, especially Husky and Seahawks games.
Karly Clendenen
Karly is proudly from Tacoma, Washington. She recently graduated from Seattle University, where she majored in Political Science with a Specialization in Legal Studies, and will soon attend its School of Law. Her favorite areas of study have been race and law, intersectionality, and constitutional law. She always strives to give back to her community and is excited to gain 'hands on' experience in her dream field, by diving into civil rights work. Her time at CRJC has shown the complexities of the law and how it can be used to achieve equitable justice. She also enjoys teaching and playing golf when she can afford it.
QUINN GARDNER
Quinn is a Junior at the University of Washington double majoring in Political Science and Law, Societies, and Justice. Originally from Walnut Creek, California, Quinn's favorite areas of study include political theory and constitutional law. He is enthusiastic about learning the complexities of the civil rights law and gaining valuable experience for his future. Aside from his academic interests, Quinn is an avid basketball player who loves the Los Angeles Lakers.
